this is soooooo stupid if you always had a mac you think mac ia better and if you always had a windows you think windows is better but mac is better for editing why would they juse a mac for editing films like matrix or stuf like that,

and windows is better for playng games its 50/50

To Mac lovers:

Mac loses! It can't even run like 25% of the awesome softwares. And a Mac is about twice the price compared to a Windows PC with SAME processing power.

You think Mac is faster, it's just about the hardwares, Windows can easily rival Mac's so called 'Fast' speed, and cheaper too.

OK, how about virus then? Or BSOD? Think it's because of your OS? NO! It's just your poorly uses of computer in the first place that caused it!

my friend has a macbook pro and I have win 7 and i'd say I brought by ipod nano for some filming and through the mac I coudn't access the files while at home through any windows I can !!!! c'mon apple I even like macs and windows and macs can't do that !!!

some say that virus are only for windows because it is the most popular system

but it could be just because windows is a virus enabled system

some belive windows is so complicated so "they" can't fix those holes

but it could be just because antivirus buisness is so good for some people

many macs or linux are running on public networks without antivirus

HD 1080p only will look a bit better with it's LCD. But every MAC's graphics card are Truly BASIC! So HD will not look as FULL as a modern PC.

not true the imovie is in hd and my imac has 1080p so mac is in hd with a screen that looks good from every angle and p.c can not do that so windows movie maker is in better hd, NOT TRUE. and mac doent requier a card.

The new Movie Maker requires a GOOD graphics card. Just about all the Apple computers don't mach up to graphics which makes HD almost useless on a MAC.

and jpollorena, that widows movie make is worse because, 1 it is spicificly for windows 7 and ilife can go on all platforms of mac and imovie 09 is alot easer to use because i'v tryed that windows movie maker at a friends house and it is alot harder than imovie and i'm a computer whiz

you made some mistakes. the SOFTWARE is getting the bluescreen. not the device. if you are using windows on a Mac it'll get Bluscreens. If you are using Mac OS on a Mac it won't get bluescreens. Bluescreen is just something microsoft uses for the case you're overloading your PC. Mac OS just flashens Blue for a half second or less. then you're back on the login screen. an in this half second or less it saves all opend files.

so i see: you don't much about the difference, you just dislike macs.

what they leave behind are folders, files and keys in the registry. so this is the junk that slows windows down so much over time.

windows often gets blamed for the slow-down. well, to a major extent its not the OS's fault. its almost common knowledge that that slowdown is caused by programs. but who writes those programs? well, some third party does. and the problem: when they do, they dont do it clean. they dont really watch out what ressources they allocate. their programm registers to autostart or preload a part of it, although it would not need to at all. and uninstalling: most (!) programm do not uninstall completely

this is so true. windows is a very good OS. but i must say, the the awesome hardware support is not the OS's achievement. the drivers get written by the hardware makers. i, myself got ubuntu on 3 pcs, its faster and makes certain thing easier for me. but im an IT student. and although i would like to, i cannot really recommend linux to the majority. windows beats everything in terms of user-friendliness. so i got windows on my moms notebook.
