Kaili participates in special olympics aquatic events every year. This year, he swam 100 Free, 50 Fly and 50 back. He added 3 gold medals to his collection and he is ready to compete for state championships in June. For those of you who don't know Kaili, he was born premature and diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at birth. His developmental pediatrician told his mom that he will not be able to walk. With help from intensive physical therapy, he started walking at age 3 and proved Dr. wrong. At age 5, he was diagnosed with Autism. Kaili started taking swim lessons as his therapy and he has been swimming for 8 years now. He has come a long way and his family and friends are very proud of him.
