hey peeps..just a little more on inspecting an item..when something does not look right, it probably isn't...always take another look with a fresh set of eyes..i got duped by not looking close enough on something...Thank God, be grateful and keep your head on a swivel!!

I want to thank everyone who likes my channel. I appreciate all the support and truly hope I am helping some people out there!! I like to show people how to make money from home! You can seriously make money from Craigslist and Ebay. I have several other revenue streams too!! Garage sale, Estate Sales, Thrift stores and shops, swap meets, flea markets, rummage sales, storage shed auctions, auctions, online, goodwill stores and more!! I love the hunt and kill of this business!! There is a plethora of resources out there!! You just have to have the motivation to get up and go find them in your area!! It is hard work sometimes, but I truly believe that if you do the right thing and keep your moral compass in check, GREAT things will happen to you. God is a huge part of my life. If you trust in him and do his will, your life will improve dramatically. That is one promise I can make to you!! While I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, I have an inherent ability to find good deals. It is in my blood! There are several great things about this business. Flexibility, freedom, time with your kids, control of your own destiny and more!!
You only need a few tools to get started!! Most people have everything they need anyways!! Phone, internet, camera, transportation etc. What a lot of folks LACK is motivation and patience!! If you don't have those two characteristics, you will NEVER make it in this arena! When I talk about patience, I mean you have to LEARN this trade. There is a lot of shortcuts you can take, but they will always lead to a brick wall!! Trust me, I know!
There are a lot of places out there that "say" they can show you how to make money from home, but you wind up getting ripped off, shoved in to an Amway meeting or other MLM gigs. So many websites and channels on youtube pitch affiliate marketing, how to make money fast, how to make money online, how to make money on YouTube, how to make money from a blog, how to make money from ebooks, how to get money, spam scams, day traders and other junk it makes me want to scream!! My way is just old fashioned buying low and selling high! It's one of the oldest professions other than farming, bartering and prostitution! NO JOKE!! SERIOUSLY Think about that for just a minute!! What other professions were there? The economic collapse may be here sooner than you think! Just look at the high gas prices!! Buy scrap silver , gold and copper! Put yourself in survival mode!! Learn how to survive in today's crappy economy!
So, if you are struggling, drowning in debt, get out of debt, need employment, need a home based business, need a leg up, a kick in the butt, depressed, tired of being broke, looking for a business opportunity, stressed out, need a job, part time income, full time income, need some extra cash, a stay at home mom or dad, asking yourself "how do I learn to be a picker"?, how to be an American picker, hot to be to be a picker, how to make money fast, how to make money quick, how do I make money from garage sales, how to make money from storage auctions, want to make ends meet, how to survive in today's economy, need employment, or you're tired and hungry, just kick back, pay attention and you might just learn something!! I have shown you my part time income proof!!
One more thing!! Be GRATEFUL and thank GOD for what you have, and don't complain about what you don't!

  • I'm also guessing, aside from the visual you made, that older celophane is different from todays plastic. Im no expert, but older celophane is indeed celophane, but todays shrink wrap has a more rubbery feel. Good aye, Good aye...cops, cops, copsssss

  • @thevintagefetcher Yes..for sure..you can tell the tape on the corners was older..the shrink wrap was new for sure!!

  • Its just as easy to make an honest buck , than to be a piece of shit and pull lame ass trickery like that , always be aware of sharks , the water is full of them .... good vid....!!

  • @bowhunter2439 In defense of that guy..he didnt know what was even there..i missed out on buying the lot..not his fault..it was mine for not looking closer...i did pull out the interior boxes (for the unit and mic) and they were perfect..just wasn't the real thing inside..again my bad for not taking 15 more seconds to look closely..lesson learned...

  • WIN: Good conscience.

  • Great video Redneckpicker! Great resource as always!

  • Cellophane is made of wood pulp and will turn yellow over time. Modern shrink wrap is made of oil by-products and is stretchier and clear. Think if the year the item was manufactured might have used the wood pulped based plastic, or if it is new enough to use the oil based plastic. Of course an electronic toy in this case would have used the oil based plastic. I'm just noting this for those who might find older items in shrink wrap.

  • With Topps Baseball and Football cards you see what are called "X out boxes" and the retailers would have had a case of boxes of packs to sell. Say they had 3 or 4 boxes out and they were all half full. Baseball season is over so they combine the packs int a couple boxes and ship them back to Topps. Topps would mark the box with a huge black X on the top. So it is still all original unopened packs, just combined into a box. They also X marked the other boxes that came with them

  • A shrink wrap heat gun and plastic could be picked up really cheap 2nd hand...Now theres another thing to be on the lookout for... Thanks for the tip

  • I never would have thought about people shrink wrapping used items. Thanks for the tip. Careful inspection is the key to whatever you are buying. I can't tell you how many times I have bought something, only to get it home and find a flaw. I hate using shopping carts at thift stores, but I think I may start. It is alot easier to examing your find with your hands free.

  • You also have to watch for items that may have been returned to manufacturer as faulty or non-working. If not repaired, alot of these items don't end up in the garbage, they end up in the hands of "liquidators". Your checkers set had obvious signs of being previously opened but, alot of newer items that have been opened can be rewrapped with sometimes no signs that all was not right. I sold a very expensive phone in a "sealed" box only to find out from buyer that battery had been removed!Swivel!

  • Thats an unfortunate part of this business. Paying attention to details is difficult to do at auctions because of the comotion, noise and fast pace. Good that you checked it out. I actually just bought a radio shack computer chess set today from the thrift store. :)

  • Great vid. Good thing you noticed that. That could've been a nightmare if someone bought it thinking it was MIB. But hey, we've all been duped one way or another. Ironic, I was watching Storage Wars when I pulled up this vid...lol. Heather

  • That is dirty pool!
