A short selection of scenes from my trek to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa, in June 2009 in aid of "Cure Leukaemia". Filmed on a Panasonic HDC-SD20 solid-state camcorder using AVCHD at 17Mbps, all in fully-automatic mode. Trip arranged by Voyage Concepts Ltd in the UK, via Tanganyika Expeditions in Tanzania.
nice video -looked like an awesome trip -was just wondering how kept the same live audio track going while using different video footage -did you use the HD writer software that came with the camera?

I don't use the HD Writer. I edit with Sony Vegas Pro 8.0c. If your budget doesn't stretch to that (it's about 500 UK Pounds) they do a lower-end version called Vegas Movie Studio which starts at 24 UK Pounds (but that's a bit rubbish - get the Platinum Pro or Platinum Pro Pack version, much better)

Thank you. It was astonishing (and astonishingly hard to do!). Really pleased that I made it though. The view over the clouds for miles around is awesome in the true sense of the word.
