  • best PWEI song they made...loved it then, love it now :D

  • This is my favorite poppies song. It makes me want to exercise...

  • Pop Will Eat Itself has such a wide range and this song is up there with their originality. This song gets blasted in my car as much as MENOFEARTHEREAPER!

  • The Poppies Were Crap at the Powerhouse ;-)

  • Love the Poppies to death but this has gotta be one of thier weakest tunes

  • Ah I see what you are saying - sorry I cant consider a compilation (one of RCAs cash grab reissues) as an album.

  • 7. The fuses have been lit

    8.Poison To The Mind

    9.Def Con 1

    10. Radio PWEI

11.Shortwave Transmission on up to the minuteman

    12.Sattelite Ecstatica

    13. Not Now James We're Busy

    14.Wake Up, time to die.

Id only guess ive listened to it play end to end about a thousand times

  • Sorry - but was it buggery opn this is this. Track 8 was "Poison to the mind" I still have the original gatefold LP (and have the 4 track tape ep and 7 " of The very metal noize polution ep. It may be that you have either an import (non UK) version, or a reissue and yes it appears on later compilations but the original track list: 1.PWEI is a four letter word 2.Preaching To The Perverted 3.Wise Up Sucker 4.16 different flavours of hell 5.Inject Me 6.Can U Dig It
  • Where to start.

Wise Up Suckers was a single , not an album. It appeared on the album "This is the Day, This is the Hour, This is This. But PWEIzation didnt. It only appeared on the 4 track very metal noise pollution E.P.

But enough pedantry. It was always one of my favourite PWEI songs. I was lucky to see them on the Tour for Sanity just after it was released. I saw them many times over the years and had the fortune of seeing the reformation in Birmingham in 2005 Nothing matched the QMU

  • love it! gone but not forgotten! up the poppies!
