"The pressure it feeds" by Mark Schwaber "The Killing Card". Available at www.markschwaber.com
The song features Joel Stroetzel (Killswitch Engage) on guitar and Ruth Keating (Ida, The Malarkies) on drums.

This video was shot on June 8th, 1994 by Nathan Carpenter Beauregard. Louis Matias, Mike Hardie and I are the folks involved on camera. Filmed in the back parking lot of Caldor in Westfield, MA around 11PM. I was drinking Black Label. Mike was driving. Louis was drinking Frutopia. Nathan was suspiciously liquid free.

  • Great song Mark, I've always liked your songwriting. The video...is that the old Caldor's parking lot?!! I think its a Home Depot now?

  • That is it! Good eyes!

  • what parts does joel stroetzel play?

  • Joel plays 4 seperate guitar parts. All electric. All the electric chords and melodies you hear throughout the song and then 2 tracks of noise at the end. Thanks for listening.

  • Oh my god, love the song . :|

  • Thanks so much, I really appreciate it. New record is finished and coming out early in 2009. Keep in touch!

  • any1 see this on the trailer for THE LIVING AND THE DEAD?

  • Dear mark, I heard this song on pandora. I fell in love with it. I'm pretty surprised to see you only have 4,000 views on it. To be fair, It's you and your friends playing wiffle ball in a parking lot. If you had made a video that attempted to express the emotions of the song, I think it would have done better. Regardless, It's a great song and I hope to hear more from you.

    Your friend,

I was fuckin born that day! =D

  • The combination of the song and the video clip somewhat scares the shit out of me. Don't know why. Although the scary feeling doesn't bother me at all. It's quite calming actually.

    An unexplainable phenomenon I'd say.
