Just a short video I made covering the starup procedure of the PMDG 737NG. Please note that Im not an expert at this aircraft yet and I gleaned most of what I show here from the manual. Hope it helps you in getting started with this wonderfull aircraft.

  • Where on the Airport chart do I locate the "LAND ALT"? I want to make this as realistic as possible. Thank you for the great tutorials, I watched all 9 :-)

  • @gigemaggs99 Should be listed as filed altitude typically a number next to the tower on the chart

  • I have a question. How do you get the time to change whilst you are filming. It's really cool and I'd like to try it out too! :)

  • Just go into I think its OPTIONS and go into TIME AND SEASON and change the time. Then un-pause the sim and continue in your new time.

  • It's normally standard procedure to start the right engine first... I don't know about southwest airlines for example but most airlines, especially here in Australia don't start engines until they're being pushed back from the gate. =D

  • You are correct :)

  • As a ground handler, if a pilot turns on an engine while I'm still loading bags, especially with a 737, I would be pissed!

  • An extremely helpful video thanks a lot

P.S you need to shorten your intro!

  • Thnks for uploading these videoes. It has been very helpful for me!!

Can you please give me more information about. which systems you use.

I have Microsoft Flight simulator X but i don't have the aircraft boeing 767.

What can I do to add 767 to flight simulator X?

  • what kind of recording software do you use here?

  • you have completely missed out on when to turn the fuel for each engine on from the throttle stack on the centre pedestal. the fuel is usually engaged when the engine is turning at about 40 % ? but the other bit is complete.thanks:

  • @etin12 You need a program called ActiveCamera.

  • you know an easier way of starting c/d is to load the PMDG C/D flight from the flights section, and just change your location, i find this was easier... just a thought

  • Should you open a fuel pump first to feed the APU?
