Walt Disney Studios opens its gates for this unprecedented WORLD PREMIERE in the newly renovated, state-of-the-art Studio theater, right in the heart of the Disney Studio lot. Disneys latest animated musical THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG features Disneys newest princess, as well as a host of memorable characters, including Louis, the jazz-playing alligator, and Ray, the lovesick Cajun firefly. The film will be followed by a special opportunity to take part in The Ultimate Experience, located inside Stage 3 at the Studio and featuring fun for the whole family.

UGGGH! Yes! It IS exciting to have the first black princess. It IS something Disney has never done before. But seriously! Let's stop stating the obvious already!!! There are so many OTHER facets that can be talked about!!!! Like, this being the FIRST Disney Princess in 10 YEARS. This movie is Disney's RETURN to hand drawn 2-D animation. This movie is the FIRST on-screen animated musical Disney has done in 5+ years. Worst interview questions ever!!!!

the first black Disney princess was Brandy in 1998 film "Cinderella"

the first black animated Disney princess was Tiana, voiced by Anoni Nika Rose, from "The Princess and the Frog".

I liked Princess and the Frog much more than Rapunzel!!

Don't get me wrong, i liked Rapunzel but Princess and the Frog is so much more 90's style.

This is one of my favorite disney animated movies! :D

@randomandproudqueen actually, there is a man with blue skin (who is completely human). basically, he accidentally poisoned himself (he is still alive today, just with blue skin) I would include an article, but I think Youtube thinks I'm a spambot when I do that, so you can google him yourself if you want, his name is Paul Karason

Wow. What an annoying interviewer, asking the same question over and over. YES, we get it; it's the first african american princess, and sure, that's neat.... But can't we dig a little deeper beyond shallow skin color and just look at it as another character we can relate to? As far as amazing feats go, this movie has way more to offer than just having the first african american princess.
