@robiemsdarkable we do not have "real proof" that our gods and goddesses exist, somewhat due to most of asatru history was destroyed or stolen by the Christian Church and anyone who belived in asatru was killed. What do you mean by "how do you people put your faith on they?"

(1 of 2) You cannot prove or disprove the existence of a "god". According to "little Crow" from the Lakota Sioux Indian tribe of North America, "We are god" and "everything is sacred" the word "god" has many different meanings depending on who you ask. To some he's a white bearded man on a throne in heaven, to others "god" is "the universe" and since us "humans" are a part of this universe, then we are "god" in that sense...or part of god.

(2 of 2) If 'all are one' then the only thing that separates things is our mind, our concepts. For example...the sun is just as vital to my health as my heart is, so where do we draw the line. Just because we are not rooted like a tree into the earth, doesn't mean we are not part of it, or are it. Am I loosing you. Christianity has nothing to do with this. Christianity, Judaism & Islam are all from the same culture. This is a way of looking at life from a different perspective or culture.

@happyhomie4 Ask yourself, do you feel comfortable with the idea that the forest is your church? The mountains and forests, the sunshine and rain, the gods and goddesses, and Wotan's kindred are his living throne.

i admire this culture very much but i have a question for all the odinsit people that are watching this video: do you have proof that odin, thor, freyr and all of that gods really exist? and how do you people put your faith on they? i'm just asking, not attacking you and if you wanna know who i believe in , well i do belive in my Lord Jesus Christ and i belive in him because i have proof that he and his father exist and they are in heaven i wish i you could answer me and then i will answer you
What is that beautiful song you were singing by the fire?

@WhitePussGuitar It's an excerpt from a reading which is read out at our blots (ceremonies). One of our members put a tune to it and now we often sing it rather than just read it.

@hrussell0901 There are many, many Odinists out there who are not part of any official organisation. Membership fees for the Odinic Rite fund a quarterly magazine and go towards our many group activities. Get in touch and attend one of our events - there will be no pressure to join.
