@snuhr you're just plain wrong, TWENTY years ago $300 would buy you as much as $490 would buy you today. based off CPI calculations from 1990-2010, this is a 63% increase in relative dollar cost not a 200-250% as you claim. it is also important to consider that average incomes increased during this period along with prices
