You really do lean towards the dark side. Bardon made sure to emphasize all the good uses a hermetic paintings could be used for - an aspect that you have ignored here. Also, don't overlook the fact that most animated paintings (and dolls) were created unknowingly and aren't likely to kill you- although they may be vampiric. You really seem to have cherry picked Bardon and extracted all the cools sounding powers he may have mentioned.
