Fallout: New Vegas - Gobi Campaign Scout Rifle

Unique Sniper Rifle.
- repaired with regular Sniper Rifles, with Jury Rigging: Service Rifle, Assault Carbine, Marksman Carbine, Sniper Rifle, Riot Shotgun, Silenced .22 SMG, Light Machinegun, 12.7mm SMG.
- as a unique weapon, cannot be modified
- critical multiplier x5

It can be found in a locked footlocker (very hard) in Sniper's Nest, due west of Cottonwood Cove. This level of lock makes the weapon unobtainable until your Lockpick skill 100 or is boosted up enough with effects from chems and books.
A unique sniper rifle that was used in a military campaign in the Gobi Desert in China, the scout rifle is coated in a desert camouflage, and equipped with an extended magazine, a slightly shorter barrel and a maintenance kit stored in the stock. Thus, its condition deteriorates more slowly than other sniper rifles. It cannot be modified with a sniper rifle suppressor or carbon fiber parts, although its decreased weight and texture imply that the latter modification has already been applied. Its reduced AP cost can be very useful for squeezing an extra shot into a V.A.T.S. sequence. It weighs 1.5 lbs. more than the base weapon outfitted with Carbon Fiber Parts. Compared to normal sniper rifle, Gobi Campaign scout rifle does slightly less damage, fires slightly faster, but the major downside is it can not be silenced.

U need to meet the STR and skill requirement for the weapon. After that the gun will still sway a bit, but not much.
