I was shy my first time ever, but oddly, I got over it pretty quickly. EFY is the only place you can go feeling like a nobody and leave feeling like a star. It's your chance to expand your comfort zone and make a new name for yourself cause nobody knows who you were before you came to EFY, so there are no preconceived notions. And everyone is so friendly. You'll likely be able to meet some else who's shy and be able to help them feel welcomed. I was even a counselor this last summer...AMAZING!!!
