@DrinkSkateSleep You probably have no concept of debt relative to income or assets. But back to the original point, the US's GDP is nearly 15 trillion and Canada's is well under 2 T. Which economy can support a major sports league? Why are there only 7 teams in Canada despite the fact that everyone loves hockey? Look at the NFL's revenue and you'll see what happens when the US loves a sport. Hell only two regions of the US like hockey and we still have 20+ teams. Thanks for your input though!

@DrinkSkateSleep the comment (from three years ago, get a life) was in reply to some idiot knocking the US etc. I was saying how dumb that was considering the NHL wouldn't exist without the US's wealth. A country with the population the size of California wouldn't be able to sustain a league. Not my opinion, simple economics. Keep drinking, skating, and sleeping instead of bringing up 3 year old comments that you didn't see the whole conversation on the first place.

Read your comment, it made absolutely no sense. But I'll assume the meaning. Wow thank you for you insight. You are probably one of Canada's greatest minds. Yes, there are more Canadians, that was not my point. My point was, and still is, that all of the Canadians in the league would still be working on their farms if it wasn't for America's wealth. So continue hating the country that allows the league to exist, and continue living your life as if the rest of the world somehow cares
