Once upon a time there was a big thing called ON Digital, one day it changed it's name to ITV Digital, then it was put into administration because it could no longer afford to meet it's payments to the football league for rights to show matches, not long after that BBC and Crown Castle (now Arqiva) officially took over the digital terrestrial television (DTT) licences to broadcast on the three multiplexes from the defunct ITV Digital, The End

Going into administration is the same as bankruptcy but you have pay all debts off

This is interesting stuff, I live in the US and I'm wondering, is going into 'administration' similar to what we call 'bankruptcy'?

I ended up buying this crap and to think they wanted to compete with sky! Whenever you wanted to watch a match you couldn't get a signal and a red dot just appeared. CRAP

It's quite funny that ITV digital had offices in Marco Polo House which originally belonged to failed (but loved) broadcaster, BSB.

I had ondigital and then itv digital way back in 2000 and i was disappointed when the company went into administration, how stupid of them to put money into football screening right when they couldnt afford it, why didnt wait for a few years until they had enough money. You wouldnt go into a shop and buy something that you couldnt afford. lol
