Age of Empires 3 Speedrun Level 4 The Ottoman Fort

The first level where you can use the hometown feature. I focused on gaining wood and food. the ship is basicly useless, but in order to destroy the ottoman's docks, to gain exp its rather useful. I send the Pikemen you have directly from the start to destroy the ottoman's gate. i also send the hometown reinforcements to the gate. during this i build with morgan the 2 required trading posts near the native villages. in the villages i hired as many soldiers as possible from my remaining resources. then i send all my units into the enemies base to burn down the commandpost and the town center.

okay i believed you the whole way through until i realized that you don't even have to upgrade to fortress age?? how on earth can you skip that? you said no cheats right? so how am i stuck while you skip that step? im curious to know ?
