Every time I grab my trusty flatpick to strum and pick this Blue Lion IC, it jumps off my lap, gets on its knees and begs, "Please don't scratch me with that plastic anymore! Send me to Linda Brockinton or Nina Zanetti so that I might be stroked gently with caring fingers." Well, since I'm not giving up this dulcimer, we've compromised, and I'm trying to work on a soft finger style of play.

Here's an arrangement of "The Minstrel Boy to the War Has Gone," one of the few songs my nearly deaf grandfather, a veteran of World War I, claimed to enjoy. I think the melody was known as "The Moreen" before words were put to it.
