@dougtaylor42 Yeah true. Also Douglas was an on and off fighter throughout his career. He came motivated for some fights and for other he fought like he fought here against Holyfield. Douglas was what you call wasted talent, he had the potential to be very good and maybe one of the top fighters of his era but he never followed up on his potential. Look at the way he fought Tyson, Douglas would have beaten almost any heavyweight of his time that night.

Douglas fought the best fight of his life against Tyson. He would've needed to fight the second-best fight of his life against Holyfield, and he couldn't pull it off.

Buster Douglas was a chump! His victory over Tyson 8 months earlier was a fluke only cause Tyson didn't train for the fight.
