Has anyone ever noticed that when clothing is put on a mannequin in the store, the clothing on her is always scrunched and pinned on the back, so that it actually looks like the clothing is small/tight enough for her, even though what she's wearing is already, like, Size 00? I'm not saying we should make overweight mannequins to be PC, but...shouldn't we be making normal-sized ones, not ones that are too skinny for even the already skinny clothes they are selling?

What mannequins represent to us as a society? They are there so store owners can sell clothing. I don't think with retail space being as expensive as it is, any business owner in their right mind would have fat mannequins just to be politically correct.
This is another example of people reading into things too much again.

That was entertaining.....

It's not just a doc about mannequins, it's about what they represent to us as a society. What is our image of beauty, how realistic is it, where is it on our list of priorities... the mannequin is one small part of a bigger picture or question.

Wow! That's all I have to say...
Where will all this lead us in the end?

I only clicked on this because those are my measurements. I didn't expect the video to be so interesting.

Personally, I find perfection boring. That's probably why I prefer real women. The imperfections are where I find real beauty.
Love the doc. by the way.
