This video make me cry. I still have my OSI account, but can not play cos EA just ruin game so much and destroy every single fun we was have before. Then they bring new "imbuing" skill in to the game, this is probably the day then the all hope die. Thank you for posting this movie. UO is not just a game. Hugs to all of you, who know what is mean.

I remember the anticipation I had bringing home that black box in late '97. It reminded me of how excited I got as a little kid when it snowed and I couldn't get my snow clothes on fast enough to get outside and play. I was pleased to find out that the game met my expectations and then some! I was so dorky I met my g/f in-game. Should have married her. Other people on my shard did this. Left their spouses and moved half way across the country to be with their UO lovers.

@heymisterderp My sister met her first real bf on UO, too, and moved across the country for a while from Ohio to California, and he moved to Ohio for a while before that, too.
It was much more than a game. These situations clearly define that.

just got a subscription to this game and wow i love it nothing like it i have a boat. a BOAT i love it HAHA getting a house next so much to do in this game. even the little things like chess and checker boards.

@sduhguitar Ya, it's an amazing game. When it first came out, it was much better, though. The golden years between '97-2000 were the best times for UO. I haven't played on official shards since about 2001, though...

@viktor250290 Its very old school, but I guarantee there is no game like it you've ever played. Definitely worth trying if you have not before.
