The actual occurrence happened in the early 80’s in upstate New York and is not even close to this recording of the fictitious “Joe” idiot. This recording sounds like an uneducated and far from funny Jerk attempting to gain some notoriety off the original story. Whoever made this recording has the creative juices and intellect of a 2nd grade comedy act. Also, the fact that this guy is trying to profit by selling T-shirts is a crime.

@FunnyMan5421 Taxpayer money isn't the only thing being wasted. In many places, 911 call centers are only minimally staffed due to budget constraints. Now what if there was no other free dispatcher and someone needed help immediately? Sometimes when someone is ill, injured, or is witnessing a fire or violent crime in progress, EVERY SECOND COUNTS.
Real or not, I see nothing funny in this. Those who abuse emergency services should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

@Jesant13 Agreed, but this is most likely either a recording of a call for someone who really did hit a deer then got bit by the deer, or 2 people, with one of them pretending to be the dispatcher.
