The mysterious blue balls which 'rained' down on a Dorset garden were merely a common substance found in nappies, scientists have claimed.

Steve Hornsby from Bournemouth has been left puzzled by tiny blue balls which came raining down on his garden late on Thursday afternoon during a hail storm.
The Met Office said the jelly-like substance was "not meteorological". *& smells like burnt rubber! * (jk) =] *typo.
Josie Pegg, an applied science research assistant at Bournemouth University, speculated that the apparently strange phenomena might be "marine invertebrate eggs".**or his wifes burst vibrating eggs! =]

Mr Hornsby said he was keeping the (his) balls in his fridge while he tried to find out what they were.
