125 C class Motocross Race @ Corcoran 9-12-08

This was my first mx race at West Metro Motorsports located in Corcoran, MN. It did not go very well. My motos were a double-drop gate, and I knew it. But in my first moto I didnt know that there was a restart. So, I went on the first drop. I got flagged down until everyone passed me. The second moto I just stalled at the gate, lol. I was riding a 2001 Yamaha Yz125.

how often did you ride before your first race? i have riden a little on a crf 150r mostly and looking to buy a bike. you did ok for a first race but i haven't seen much amature racing so idk. but ya how much experience did you have before this? .

@traxxaslover123 I started on an xr50 and 70 years ago, but I went to an xr100 and then a big bike in less than a year. Probably just a few months on a motocross bike...

good job for your first race man! i just got a 125 and man i suck on it but the more you try and the harder you go on it the better you'll get. good luck!!!
