Michele Bowen Plays Sonata sopro "La Monica" by Phillip Friedrich Boddecker (1651). Walther Luiz Valentini on double bass, Marilyn Olson on piano. The German theme and variations "La Monica" is about a young girl who begs her mother not to send her to the monastery to become a nun. It would have originally been played on a dulcian.

i love the basson thats the reason i play it at my school and wat makes me more important playing the bassoon at my school is that i am the only kid who is playing at it and my teacher says im good at it and he never had a kid play a bassoon in his advanced band before sooooo bassoon rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!­!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!­!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
