video was takin just after a rain shower hence the misting. i am using a 60-1 turbo its to big for a stock 2.3 ford it surges above 13psi, boost starts at 1500. so i drillled 1/2 inch hole in pipe so boost starts at 2200 and full boost of 25psi at 4750 and no surge. engine doesn't hit boost as hard and loose traction this way, not as fun either. saving up for big lift cam from Essy cam 489 lift should help the head except all the air the turbo wants to supply. then i will plug the 1/2 " hole

  • thx man

  • dope car!

  • becouse the compressor is to big for the HEAD. stock cam and valves. the compressor is a 60-1 good for up to 600hp. i get plenty o boost 25psi from 4500 to red line 300hp. i see 1psi at 2000rpm. If i set boost to 13psi and plug the hole in pipe i see 1 psi at 1250 but make 218 hp at red line. above 13psi i get surge 2500rpm with plug in pipe. 13psi hits hard low end but is hard on tires and trany.

  • dude why is there a hole drilled in your charge pipe next to your bov i bet you are loseing alot of boost
