*=You "Don't" need to take your xbox apart!=*

(proceed at own risk!!)This video will show you a way to fix the E73 code (One red ring of death bottom right corner) on an Xbox 360. I know a few more methods on doing this & will make more video's soon, also if there are any problems, suggestions, or questions message me. For some reason there is no information on how you could fix this on the Microsoft support page or anywhere on the website. So I opened it up & messed with it but all I knew was that it was the Ethernet port is not working. Not "completely" sure what it is that fixes this but it works. It works temporarily, usually pretty long maybe, 2 or 3 months. Now I've been doing it & getting shorter amounts of time, then they get longer. Questions, Suggestions, Or Problems, Comment or message me. Please comment & rate.

(proceed at own risk!! i suggest only doing this if ur warranty has ended and its practically trash)

(THIS ALSO SHOULD FIX THE E74 CODE)

  • thanks man it worked it does take a while but you just need to keep trying i used screwdivers insted of paper clips but how long does it last dude

  • @DiEoHaRd It can be from 1 to 3 months or so but it slows down overtime. If you want to permanently fix it bring to a local computer store. Doing this method will eventually kill your xbox. Or actually follow the tutorial on youtube about changing your thermal paste in your xbox & that ought to fix it with a resource cost of around $10 - $15 maybe.

  • Problably got e73 by leaving xbox 360 on floor like that 90% of xbox problems are heat related. The other 10% are manufacture defects lack of solder and poor solder connections flexing of the board from the heat warping etc.

  • @cyberzero2010 no i dont keep it on the ground i just set it there to fix it.
