2 hours of fun drum circle rhythms from around the world. Great for the djembe, congas, doumbek, or any other hand drum. Times are hard for those of us in the arts, so I try to offer the best value for the lowest possible price. It's $17 for the 2 hour DVD & a free 78 minute drum circle jam CD including shipping anywhere in the USA. (It's $19 for both disks to all other countries.)

Please keep in mind that on the actual DVD each rhythm is about a minute long, so there is plenty of time to absorb, & get into them. On the sample here they are only 15 seconds. Each rhythm is numbered, so you can easily refer back to the ones you like.

(What looks like a ring on my finger, is a wedding band tattoo.)

Also, I have a book out, "A Practical Guide To Hand Drumming And Drum Circles". 6" x 9" paperback, over 300 pages of text, and the price is $17.95 It includes a free facilitated freestyle drum circle jam CD also. It's on Amazon Kindle, or Barnes & Noble for $8, (but no free CD).

Please visit my site drumcircles.net for more info on my DVD or book.

The 101 Drum Circle Rhythms DVD is also available at Amazon for a couple bucks more. (But no free CD with Amazon orders)

Visit my site drumcircles.net for some free downloadable drum circle mp3s, djembe ringtones, & lots more. Thanks & drum some!

  • man, how can you play with your wedding ring? It hurts your fingers!

  • @grzybolino Hello, It's a wedding band tattoo. I got tired of taking my wedding ring off to drum, so I had it done about 10 years ago. (And yes, playing a drum with an actual metal ring would not be a good thing.)

  • Thanks, there are some nice ideas there.

  • That's very kind of you, thanks. Check out the video Backyard Drum Circle. That's a fun "drum break" rhythm idea we play at many of our local drum circles. It's always a big hit with the group. bonai posted it here on youtube back in 2006. It's awesome.

  • I'm deaf but I still want to buy one!!

  • Awesome. Thanks for sharing in such a way that is without ego and simple to learn.

  • i used to play the african drums when i was younger at school. i like the beat

  • woow!that made me scratch my brains!i loved it!veeery nice rhythms!lovely complexity!

  • Maybe get with a few others who feel the same way, and try starting up your own circle, and get some good grooves going.

That happened at Griffith Park in LA and it worked pretty well. If things get too far away from a group ensemble the musicality can become rather frustrating.
