Humans lived in relative balance with each other and our environment until we slipped into agriculture a mere 10K years ago. The current disaster started there. The population crisis did not even manifest until the Industrial Revolution, only 200 years ago! World war is not a function of human nature, it is a function of "modern nature" - the result of technology and the State. Both must be dismantled. One solution is to simply withdraw our energies from the Machine.

Defense is a reaction of attack... if there was no attack, would there be a need for defense ?

Violence is barbaric, a testimony of our most basic and primal instincts... where should we aim ? For an eternal violence pattern loop that will inevitably end in our own stupid destruction ?

Or toward peaceful evolution, where we care for each other in harmony and finally achieve some kind of balance on Mother Earth we're killing... ?
