Finally got to play with my boy Diego and get some new footage. It wasn't the brightest idea to go play in a blizzard and it was below 0 but it was still fun. And Diego was really excited about getting to have a play day.

Starting to play with some new liberty concepts. Changing leads on the circle (Diego still likes to throw in more lead changes then I ask for, but we're working on it lol) also zone 5 spins and trying to improve our sideways.

Diego even offered a rear! (Yes it was a little one but it still counts) He's never offered that before.

Song: Sweet Serendipity
Artist: Lee Dewyze

  • How long has it taken you to get to the stage you're at now with Diego? Hopefully soon I'll have some videos to show of what Eddie (My horse) and I can accomplish :) Because he definitely has some issues and I'm hoping that with Parelli, he and I will be able to work through them, so he enjoys and feels confident being ridden and stops fighting me. Thanks again to you both for being so inspiring! All your videos are amazing!

  • @Becabi18 I've been playing with him since he was 9 months old. He's now going on 7. The last 2 years after I got back from the Parelli Campus in Pagosa is when I started having major breakthoughs with him. Mostly because I started listening to his ideas......and when I did that he started offering more. It was really neat.

  • This video really inspired me with my Parelli journey and I dream of the day when the relationship with my horse is as connected as yours and Diego's! Thank you so much for letting me see that all the hard work does pay off in the end :D

  • @Becabi18 Thank you :) sometimes "taking the time it takes" does seem like it takes forever, but it does pay off. Diego is such a awesome teacher for me. He's taught me a lot about being creative and not getting to direct line.
