The legacy of Reagan is one of selling weapons to a terror-sponsoring nation (Iran) and using that money to support yet another terror-sponsoring nation (Nicaragua). That legacy includes misguided "enemy of my enemy is my friend" notions that gave birth to al Qaeda by funding, training and arming Osama bin Laden. His legacy was astronomical spending against a threat that was collapsing under its own weight. Pick an idol like Goldwater - the last true small gov. conservative.

What a pathetic joke. The one sound bite that Tancredo gave in the debate - and it's a damnable lie as far as he's concerned.
Remember, folks, this comes from a guy who made a solemn pledge to his constituents, contributors, supporters and voters that he would serve only three terms in Congress if elected, and who repeated that pledge over and over and over again, using it to win two more terms in office before cravenly breaking it.
