@BRIGHTONROCKBOYS Just remove the old hosts file and then take your new host file, into the etc folder :) Worked for me

What worked for me with apple tv 2 was this:
disable little snitch, virus scanners, restart, etc.
It gave me an error 1602 but i see the logo is now on the bottom right of tv so we'll see how we go!

Hi there tried this but every time I try and copy the file it says the operation cant be completed because the hosts file is in use..silly question but how do I close it!? thanks!
