They all suffered from epilepsy, and even though there have been significant strides made through the years in treating the human side of the mysterious disease, it's only fairly recently that progress has been made in treating epilepsy in the animal world. Texas A&M University researcher Jonathan Levine, an assistant professor in the College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences, is experienced in treating animal epilepsy and often sees the disease firsthand when animals are brought into the emergency room.
