暢銷書《Are You Ready to Succeed》作者Prof‭ ‬Srikumar RAO教你如何找快樂

Prof Srikumar RAO
Author of International bestseller Are You Ready to Succeed

Stressed that no matter how hard you try, you cannot change things? When will is not enough, you need insight and techniques. Adapting eastern philosophy to the contemporary world, Prof RAO has designed the "Creativity and Personal Mastery" course to help people examine themselves and master their circumstances. The course has run at many of the top business schools in the world but is relevant to to a far broader audience. By design, the course starts you on a journey of growth to which there is no end.

Srikumar Rao 教授
暢銷書《Are You Ready to Succeed》作者(美國)

About this Talk

Prof RAO lays out a vision for the audience: a future when the mess made by the previous generation will be cleared up by a generation of young people. This generation is radiantly alive, has a deep sense of purpose, and live each and every day with gratitude.Prof RAO believes that happiness is an integral part of life. People can always be okay and never be not okay -- because being happy is hard wired and is in everyone's very nature. We are unhappy because we waste our lives learning to be unhappy. The cause of unhappiness is the "if, then" model. An example of the "if,then" model is "if I have money, career, love, etc, then I will be happy". This model is wrong. Instead of depending on the "if", Prof RAO suggests that we should accept the world as it is. Then our habitual wanting self drops.Professor RAO believes we should find happiness in the process but not the outcome. Results should not be the source of happiness, and the outcome, which is beyond our control, should not be the basis of happiness.Professor RAO ends his talk with meditation -- a reminder that happiness does not depend on things on the outside, but between one's ears.
