Hey there. I learned a little Amharic. I was in Ethiopia for only one month. BUT, these tribes that I visited in the Omo Valley don't speak Amharic. They only speak their tribe's language. This video is from the Hamar tribe. So, the speak Hamar.

That's really cool, you are very lucky to have so much free time and money to travel around all these interesting countries in the world. ive always wanted to visit ethiopia. a country with a great long history. did you visit its capital as well? addis ababa

Hi. Yes - I spent a month traveling around Ethiopia. I was my favorite country of my entire world tour. It is a special place filled with wonderful people and fascinating culture. Put it at the top of your list!!!

These tribes don't speak Amharic. They speak their own native tribal language - entirely different from the tribes just 60km away. This is the Hamar tribe and they speak Hamar.
