  • I've been watching Moyers for a long time and he is unfortunately clueless...he has consistently failed to see that all the government activism that he advocates leads to the big gov corruption and business-gov collusion that he hates. regulation MEANS corruption.

Lew Rockwell finally tells Moyers the truth.

  • It seems everything is geared to taking your money & stripping you of you rights.

  • To the extent that one wishes freedom, he DOES have a duty to make it happen. Nobody OWES him freedom. Not voting does nothing. It doesn't change peoples' minds. It does nothing but illustrate Pareto's 80/20 Rule of big talkers versus true activists.

I'm not "imposing" libertarianism on anyone. I'm condemning those who don't lift a finger to make freedom happen.

If someone wants freedom, I have EVERY right to tell them what they're doing wrong that's slowing the rest of us down.

  • he has no obligation to do anything, he has better things to do with his time (Thoreau). Not voting does more for the cause of liberty than voting... who are you to impose your libertarian values on anyone? it would be wrong to tell anyone what to do.

  • Spoken like a useless critic who's never lifted a finger in his/her own life, EVER, to help the cause of liberty.

And if you tell me that you were in the military, that doesn't qualify.

  • Has anyone considered the possiblity that Ron Paul, if elected, couldn't turn the system around, but only lengthen the time the tumor of government eats away at the economy?

We had the smallest government in the world, a minarchists dream, but it was gone in 3 generations. The government will just regrow again. Let's all just give up on the illusion that you can have a "good amount" of state. I say stop supporting ANY state action. This includes Ron Paul.

  • Oh and by the way, to those even partially contemplating that RP might be at all racist. Walter Williams is a black man. Look him up, and he fully endorses RP and is a hero in the Black Community. He could very well be our future Vice President! Throw this in the face of those that call Ron a racist.
