While I totally agree with you.
To be fair to the pope. All aryan children (like him) were required to be part of the Hitler youth. There wasen't even a choice in the matter.

@MelOAyness No Hitler was a believer a catholic and always claimed he was doing gods work. And most of his nazi followers believed the same. Church on Sunday filling the ovens and raping the rest of the time. He used god and christianity to bolster the people as only a religion could do. When you have a bunch of prepared sheep a sick twisted man like Hitler can always use them to his advantage simply by invoking god. And yes the pope was part of the nazi youth corp.

Because bible is bullshit as are all the other "holy" books humans have made up it would be a deistic god of whom we know nothing about.
