@oOweirdoOo People have had so many different opinions on their way of a segue from This Dying Soul into The Root Of All Evil, but John plays that song in Eb and all the rest of the songs from the suite are on a 7 string guitar so a segue like this would not give him enough time to change guitars without any of the intro
