> "Danny wasn't analyzing "is" he was making the point that it's better to question things than to make statements"
Which itself is a statement.
"btw I don't agree that Capitalism causes crisis as we don't have Capitalism in this or any other country as Capitalism is no state intervention in the markets."
I have not said capitalism causes crises.

I prophecied the Occupy Wallstreet protest in my book Mystery Babylon Finally Revealed.
Jeremiah 51:14 The LORD has swarn by himself: I will fill you with swarms of men as with swarms of locusts.
Occupy: to fill up. I also prophecy that they(wallstreet protestors or the fallen governments) will burn her(the 1%) with fire.
Jer51:6 Flee out of Babylon, deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this is the time of the LORD'S vengeance; he will give her a recompence

oh i absolutely love this video danny! this is really great and alot of fun! here are my ideas for some good banners from different viewpoints: 1. "Bring our children home!" 2. "end the global lie" 3. "point-zero-zero-one-percent..
.we see you" 4. "you are already free" 5. "end internalized colonization" 6. "make everything you need....not war" 7. "stop fooling yourself" 8. "smash the state: of ignorance" 9"a system that deploys troops but does not honor warriors has no business being a state." -
"END THE FED !"

my sign says
"sociopaths have access to power. should they?"

@tml4873 but to say, for sake of argument, "everything is ok" may well not be true because it's more based on an opinion or point of view. but in your example, to say that the glass contains water - well if the glass does contain water then that is an observable fact not an opinion, so to then say that IS could not be used in that context seems absurd to me.

E-Prime (short for English-Prime, sometimes denoted E′) is a version of the English language that excludes all forms of the verb to be. E-Prime does not allow conjugations of to be (am, are, is, was, were, be, been, being)
You and the homeless guy have basically re-defined the word "is", or at least limited it's usage and rendered it meaningless. Using your rules, even sentences like "this glass is filled with water" is wrong, because glass is glass, and filled with water is filled with water. If all you can use the word "is" for is (look, wrong again) to say things are themselves. Brown is brown. Up is up. Big is big. You are you. Do you see the absurdity?
