@Bozpot Already got that gaunt look even then! Local lad, too... our headmaster always used to proudly remind us that John Hurt was an old boy of our school (even though he was actually from Derbyshire and only went to school in Lincoln for a short time).

I was looking forward to seeing this mainly because of the presence of a young John Hurt, but in actual fact he's far too young. He looks like a little boy, which is a shame.

Interesting to see this film, especially for the opening credits with a background of Lincoln. I've lived in the city for years and kept hearing about this film. Thanks for the chance to see it! How young some of the well known actors look!
