Amtrak Train 97, the Silver Meteor to Miami, Florida, takes off from New York Penn Station. Today's consist is HHP-8 660, a baggage car, 3 Viewliner sleepers, a Heritage diner car, an Amfleet II cafe, and 4 Amfleet II coaches.   • I swear I hear an NJT ML train with an ALP-46 arriving at the same time.

  • You would be correct.  7021 with 7 additional ML's and 4603 pushing them into the station.

  • How does the silver star have p42 in florida and aem 7 in the northeast is it an engine switch

  • Ive been to penn station...got there by way of the Crescent line from Anniston Alabama. riding by rail was a great experience and I'd do it again!
