@POC777 well, it depends on where you live and what you like to eat, so you can find out what actually will grow in your area, get tips from your local farmers. Prepare soil, you can start now by planting garlic, for ex.Make a compost pile - you can use it as an organic fertilizer in a couple of years. Get some basic garden equipment (shovels, tiller, rakes, etc). Plan it. Find out when you plant other veggies in your area (March, May? when it stops to freeze), like potatoes, etc. Good luck!

@SuprMars83 why would they do that?? It's in their best interest to have less hungry people. It is also their job to protect your property. It's never been illegal to plant a small garden in RU or Ukraine, a lot of people still do that because food is ridiculously expensive there now (how would like to pay $15-18 for a lb of chicken? $8 for lb of tomatoes?) unless you decide to grow pot from seeds.

@mssubmissiven2010 try not to tell too many people that you have all these supplies because when times get desperate people get desperate so if you tell too many people that you have food they may come looking for you when there is no food

@julqw2 The only thing i'm concerned about with this is that what if the police/military take control of the garden or say its illegal when you are planting seeds?

thank you for posting your blogs and the efoods website i just took a sigh of relief. I will try to buy a years supply every six moths for myself and my two young daughters. im storing water and im buying generators, batteries, vitamins, diapers baby wipes, flashlights and water filtration systems, solar panels to recharge batteries and ect. people will think i've gone crazy but i will not give up my life or the lives of my girls because the world "overpopulated" itself and then trashed earth.

great video! If you understand how broke our government is and the fact that our money is worthless, you will understand the real value of this video.

mass buying food can result in food shortage too, the best way is to plant a garden - get rid of your lawn or rent a lot for a garden; a 1/3 of an acre is enough for a family of 4. I've lived thru USSR collapse, so I have seen some harsh times, but the garden really helped.

I bought food for the next 6 months; i got 60 pounds of rice, 30 pounds of beans, 20 pounds of corn flour, over 100 meat cans, 50 pounds of pickled veggies, cooking oil, numerous spaghetti bags etc. AND I WILL BUY EVEN MORE-ENOUGH FOR 2 YEARS. That's my goal.
