@Hardy30680 you know what i mean... ?

@Hardy30680 He/him/to him aren't relative to the noun! In English there is just my/your/his/her/our/your/their which refer back to the noun and that's the main difference compared to German, because we have 4 causes which refer back to the noun. For example in german you use in the 2nd person singular: dein, deine, deiner, etc. and for that you just use in english YOUR .... whatever.
and 'des, dem, den' is of the 4 causes which you don't use in english like we do in german- you just say: the

@hsrulw23 Yes, some noun endings show you the gender of a noun. For example: Nouns ending in -ung, -heit, -keit, -schaft and -in are always feminine. There are even more gender hints but also exeptions. I don´t really speak Italian/Spanish but I would say that it´s more difficult to predict German noun genders than Italian/Spanish noun genders.

@L0UiSful Well, they have the 4 cases in English. He/him/to him/his ... Nom/Acc/Dat/Gen. But lots of native English speakers don´t know it and that´s why they might have problems with the cases in German. I know that seeing 6 different articles and 4 cases at the same time would be confusing at first, aber lieber ein Ende mit Schrecken als ein Schrecken ohne Ende ;-) I just don´t want learners to think that der/die/das is ALWAYS masc/fem/neut. The 6 articles are kinda flexible.

@Hardy30680 you can't explain der,die,das AND den,dem,des in one video. That's sooo complicated. The normal articles are just der, die, das! and den,dem,des is totally a different story, it's kinda weird, because den,dem,des is something with "4-Fälle", that you may not know in English language.
-
ooops sorry, it's difficult and not diffiult...
-
@mrsuniicorn ok. i just don't like videos that only show der/die/das because people might think that der/die/das is the whole story and then they're surprised and probably more confused when they see words like den/dem/des. that's why i think that learners should see all the articles at the same time. but of course, a native speaker like me doesn't really have an understanding of how diffiult it is to learn all the articles.

he y kommst du aus deutschland oder amerika oder england ?

@Am3rIca16 it's "Die Frauen"

I think it's absolutely pathetic that people can't seem to hear the word German without spouting their uneducated bullshit about how Germans are Nazis, for the most part, Germans are a wonderful people who deeply regret what the minority of the Axis (NOT JUST GERMAN YOU MORONS) population did. Aside, German is a beautiful language that is not only incredibly useful in the real world but can also teach you quite a bit about the history of the English language too. Liebe Deutschland!
