Vincent van Gogh lead quite a sad,and traumatic life that I feel this sombre,serious music goes so well with his paintings. I am interested in both their lives and haver read bios on both of them. I really feel that she is the ideal accompanist to his paintings as the cello expresses his moods so well. As someone previously said a combination of Dutch and English (du Pre and Elgar) at their very best. RIP Smiler (Jackie) and Vincent,you were both geniuses of the highest order.
