  • This is a wonderful example of early(1925) electric recording-there is much use of the bass drum which is unusual as it usually messed up the recording !

  • Found it! Paul Whiteman Ukulele Lady. Toe tapper ala '25. Thanks anyway.

  • have any copies of "Ukulele Lady"? It was hit with my aunts... Listened to it on a crank Victrola, until one of us kids dropped it. Records of the day were easily broken. oops.

  • @TCDS75 Daria mis ultimos 10 y 15 años de vida por estar con una mujer de aquellos días (en su forma joven).

  • @bluedoris Not NY, license plate is British.

  • AWESOME!

  • Some hot women, even for those times.

  • @bluedoris The girl in the car.... It's one of the very first MGs! The license-plate is an English one, from Oxford. Great record, great tune! Love it! (John).

  • "Wild as any Zulu..." Lulu sounds like fun and my of girl. And Pearl is a "darn nice girl" - no fun at all!

Besides, Lulu will come by herself anyway!

Love this recording- Thanks for posting- Garber had a hot band in the 20's.

    -Bill
