CPP Flag raising ceremony honoring America's Veteran's
In a quiet industrial section of Anaheim, employees of Classic Performance Products, Inc. took a moment in the work day to dedicate their new flag and pole. Members of the American Legion Honor Guard Post #72 of Anaheim were on hand, all of which have served in past wars, to honor and post the colors. "As we stand at the intersection of Freedom Avenue and American Street today, we honor those who have lost their lives in battle," proclaimed J.R. Ries, vice president of Classic Performance Products. "We dedicate this flagpole to the memory of those who fell in the service of our country."
As the new 10 foot American flag was raised, the American Legion members fired their rifle salute, then hand over hearts, the Pledge of Allegiance was recited by those in attendance. "It is with great privilege and pleasure to have the honor of presenting this beautiful symbol of our country," proclaimed Ries.
On hand for the dedication ceremony were Classic Performance Products, Inc. owners Jim and Jill Ries, son Jake Ries, vice president Jack "J.R." Ries, American Legion Post #72 Honor Guard Captain Joe Weidner, Honor Guards Al Alvarez, Manny Martinez and Tony Bautista, and the employees of Classic Performance Products. The flagpole and lighting were graciously donated by Bryan Industries.
Thanks!!! God Bless America!
