9/11 hijackers at Dulles Airport

Security footage shows the five hijackers passing through the passenger security checkpoint without hindrance, even though Majed Moqed and Nawaf al-Hazmi kept setting of the metal detector and were "wanded". Nawaf al-Hazmi's carry on bag was also "swabbed" with an explosives tracing device. All hijackers boarded the flight, which departed at 8:20 a.m., and crashed into the Pentagon a 9:37 a.m.

And how would they know to book flights all 4 of them on the same day which were unusually low in occupancy, making it less likely to be overthrown?

And why would you train them to fly on US soil? So that the FBI could more likely identify them?
