Curry Theatre, The Love Note: "Detention"

The Curry College Theatre stage players hit the road in early 2010 to showcase one of their most successful plays in recent years.

In January, ten lucky members of the student troop got to show off their acting chops at the Turtle Lane Playhouse in Auburndale, MA, just outside of Boston. They performed three songs from the musical, "The Love Note" as part of The Young Actor's in Winter Festival, produced by James Tallach.

It is the first year that the Curry College Theatre department has taken part in the event. The following student-performers were featured:

Written by Curry's very own Professor Gail Phaneuf, "Note" was first performed in the spring of 2009 as the Curry Main Stage production and received rave reviews from audiences.
