Just testing the manual settings on my Canon GL1 for depth of field shots. Some nature shots of the backyard with some mellow ambient new age type music for the soundtrack. I did some color correction to give it the warmer, more cinematic look.

  • It shouldn't matter, as long as it shows up in your editing software when you open the capture devise.

    I used a firewire (4 to 6 pin) cord and captured it with adobe premiere pro.

  • Great job. Are the nature sounds natural ambient captured through the camera mic? How well does the GL1's built-mic capture sound in general?

  • Um i dont think so.. would a mac book pro have a firewire port?
