Often in high school, they'd drive past me as I was walking home, and throw stuff at me out their car windows. Going to teachers and the principle did nothing, so I soon realized that I had to stick up for myself. I got more aggressive, and actually began retaliating. I soon learned that you can't reason with bullies, nor can you simply ignore them. You gotta be rough right back at them. Show them that you're not an easy target.

Hell, I was bullied extensively; both in public school, and high school, though not as much as public school. I was ignored most of the time, but when I wasn't being ignored, I was being treated badly. Kids called me nasty names, always picked me last in group games, and always targeted me in stuff like dodgeball. I even had a torn out piece of the floor thrown at the back of my head. Oh, and a kid threw a thick part of a branch at me. Cut my head pretty bad.

Uh, buddy, that's kind of the whole point of bullying. Many bullies know that they're making the victim unhappy. That's why they do it. To make others that they deem too weak to fight back miserable. It's how they assuage their own insecurities.You really think that a bully would think that their victim likes being pushed around and being called nasty names? If they knew that, then they wouldn't do that.
