March 16th 1985. QPR were struggling against relegation, just one year after we had returned to the top flight with style, finishing fifth in the league.
In this match, Wayne Fereday (2) and Gary Bannister got the goals in the 3-0 win against Ipswich.

  • thanks for posting this clip! this was my first ever game at loftus road as an 11yr old.my dad took me on the overnight sleeper train to london from kirkcaldy,fife and it got me hooked on english football and to this day i still remember this day with fond memories. thanks for the memories :)

  • Not a great day at the office for Ipswich, in fact I think our only ever win on plastic was that Milk Cup tie played about six weeks before this game. Thanks for the upload though as there isn't much mid-80s ITFC stuff on YouTube. Rangers really could ping the ball about on that surface couldn't they?
